Unknown Ways To Use Emojis On iOS 17.4.1

23 Mar 2024

On March 5, Apple released iOS 17.4 and then recently have made some updates to version 17.4.1. Alongside a slew of undoubtedly handy features (like podcast transcriptions or Siri's newfound ability to announce incoming messages in any supported language), what had everyone eagerly awaiting were, naturally, the new emojis.
Now, you have mushroom, phoenix, lime, broken chain, and shaking heads emojis at your fingertips. By the way, we have seen some videos where people wondered why these emojis were released and when one would use a mushroom or phoenix emoji. But that is not the focus of our text.
Thanks to the TikTok video by Chris Carley, it has been revealed that emojis can be used to create true masterpieces. Layering emojis on top of emojis, and then even more.
How does it work? Let us explain.
This feature only works in iMessage. Select an emoji (in our case it is a beaver), press and hold it for a while, then drag it to the text input area and send it. It is important to do it exactly this way — if you send the emoji without holding it, nothing will happen.

So, the emoji is sent — now it is time to turn a simple emoji into a super-emoji (or "emoji scene," as Chris Carley calls it). Choose any emoji you like, press and hold it, and drag it onto the sent emoji — anywhere on it. Check out the beaver we have decorated.

Also, you can react to messages you receive with emojis — the algorithm is the same. Take it, hold it, place it.
It appears we have already got an idea of what you are up to today. No need for thanks!
