Ever find yourself needing something to listen to (like, your ears are craving it), but you have no idea what? I know the feeling. It happens to me every time I go for a run — the right vibe totally depends on my mood, and if the music doesn’t hit just right, the run falls flat. Same thing when I am struggling to focus — sometimes music is the only thing that helps.
So, in my quest for fresh tracks for every mood, I reached out to the amazing Parvané Barret. I knew she would have spot-on recommendations, and she nailed it! Go ahead and save these tracks for yourself.

What to listen to in the car

Parvané: I love listening to club-style, high-energy tracks while driving; it lifts my mood and makes me ignore the people who cannot drive in Dubai, haha!

What to listen to when you are home alone

Parvané: When I am alone at home, I listen to pretty much anything, but I discovered this track recently, and it resonates with me a lot.

What to listen to while cooking

Parvané: Groovy, chill beats.

What to listen to in the morning

Parvané: I usually like to start my day with tracks similar to this one or some lo-fi/ jazzy beats. It helps me focus.

What to listen to when you are in a bad mood

Parvané: BPM on fire.

What to listen to when you are in a great mood

Parvané: A classic one; it makes me so happy and instantly makes my day better. Chicago House forever!

What to listen to when you have no idea what to listen to

Parvané: I usually listen to meditation music or some relaxing sounds. Or sometimes nothing at all.

What to listen to when everything is annoying you

Parvané: This makes it better.

What to listen to when you see hundreds of messenger notifications on your phone but don’t want to respond

Parvané: A Housy, disco beat goes a long way for me. If this is playing, expect slow replies.

What to listen to calm down

Parvané: Back to my Iranian roots with this one. It always makes me emotional.

What to listen to but never admit you did

Parvané: I would admit this over and over again.
