Coffee you must try (or at least smell; yes, you can ask to smell them)
Fun fact about Bacha — they are one of the few companies that are sourcing coffee beans themselves, ensuring quality at each step.
Trying to navigate through up to 200 types of coffee, every visit to Bacha starts with the same question — what kind of coffee do you like? So, let’s discuss the cameos:
Tip: Go for the single origin in the morning, ask for the “morning” selection, and try their decaf after 4 pm to fall asleep later. Also, they don’t serve coffee with milk, but if you like milk-based beverages, just tell the waiter, and they will serve you the most tender and milky cup of black coffee in your life.
Ujjal Rana turned a dessert-like rice farm into a lush coffee plantation at Mount Everest Supreme. The predominantly Caturra coffee bushes absorb the mountain foothill's essence, yielding unique flavours impossible to find elsewhere.
This is the single most expensive coffee in the world. And it is for a reason. In the high Cerrado Mineiro region, the Andrade family operates one of the oldest coffee plantations. Situated at 1,100 metres altitude, their coffee benefits from ideal rainfall and heat conditions. Cherries are meticulously harvested at optimal ripeness, sorted by colour, and then processed without water to preserve bean quality. This natural method promotes uniform drying and enhances flavours, resulting in a high-quality coffee with exotic notes ranging from rose to chocolate and a delightful acidity reminiscent of rhubarb and cherry.
True picking flavour with no artificial flavours. Offering a delightful mix of wild strawberries paired with Chantilly cream and subtle chocolate undertones, this one is so good you can practically have a coffee for dessert.
This one comes in both caffeinated and decaf, and it is for those who like their coffee smoky. Hidden in Oxapampa's jungle at 1,600 metres above sea level, this plantation produces just 69 kg of handpicked, sun-dried coffee annually. Shaded by surrounding trees, it preserves its environment and holds a "Rainforest Alliance" certification. Hand-selected green beans result in a refined, floral, slightly spicy cup, offering a memorable tasting experience.
This one is a great start-your-day drink. Caramel and tender, it's great paired with cream or had in black. Enhanced by the aroma of sweet cinnamon bark and fresh green almond with hints of ripe plum and wild cherry, this remarkable 100% Arabica coffee tantalises its flavourful profile.
Their coffee is prepared in a special E90 machine with precisely 35 grams per pot, so you can enjoy your cup of impeccable drink every time.
Last but not least — the location. Dubai Mall, as mentioned, better come to Fashion Avenue, and Bacha is located right on the second floor, near the Miu Miu shop. The best time to visit would be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings, as this is the only time when the place isn’t crowded, and you will surely get a chance to sit.
