If you are heading there to explore the rich history and culture — or maybe you are ready to rave through some of the biggest malls in the Middle East — Riyadh is your go-to. But if your vibe is all about chilling by the beach, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the famous Red Sea, and using up your full stash of SPF — then Jeddah is the place to be. Saudi Arabia beach clubs: a few friendly reminders
- Public beach clubs usually follow a modest dress code. Private ones are generally more relaxed — but rules can vary. So the best thing, is to drop them a quick WhatsApp before heading out, just to make sure you do not rock up in full beach mode and leave in full disappointment;
- As for photos — yes, you can take them, but be mindful. Privacy is a big deal in Saudi Arabia. That doesn't mean you can't snap a cute shot — just make sure no one is lurking in the background before you hit the button.
- Some beach clubs can be family-only or separated by gender;
- Some beach clubs require advance reservations or even an application form. It might sound a bit extra, but it is really just to keep things private and crowd-free.

GALU Beach Club
What makes GALU Beach Club stand out is that it welcomes men, women, and couples — so if you want to skip the hassle of application forms and complicated policies, this spot is a safe, easy choice.
What else can you expect? Light snacks and mocktails, mixing with both peaceful moments for quality “me-time,” and beats from local DJs to keep the vibe just right.
An important note: photos are strictly prohibited to protect everyone’s privacy. Also, be prepared — management may sometimes ask you to leave your phone in a locker while you are inside.
BOHO The Beach
Families only
Have you seen the popular Gigi beach clubs in Dubai? Well, Boho The Beach is the perfect Jeddah match — that same boho-chic, Latin-inspired vibe, blending laid-back luxury with style.
Just two things to keep in mind: First — it is family-only membership. Second — no walk-ins here. You will need to apply in advance, using the application form.
Shades Beach
Shades Beach isn't just about sunbeds and sea views — it is giving main character energy all day long. Want to make the most of it? Start your morning with a round of padel (pretend you are sporty), cool off with a swim in the pool, and end the day with sunset yoga.
Bonus points: no drama with booking — it is open to everyone and really easy to reserve. And one more thing — if you are here for more than just vitamin D, check their weekend party schedule and find your beat.
Silver Sands
If you have made it this far and are still reading, you are probably looking for something with more energy, activity, and fun. Good news — the next spot won't let you down!
Silver Sands is known for a great range of water activities: jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling, windsurfing, and more. One important note: it only operates on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 am to 6 pm.

You wake up, grab your favourite matcha with coconut milk, slap on your morning patches and… still reading? Then chances are chic, ladies-only La Maison d'Obhur is exactly what you are looking for. Think white sandy beaches, beautiful setups, and light, delicious food — everything you need for a flawless day out with the friends.
One thing to note: bringing a child is totally fine — but boys over the age of 10 aren't allowed.

In addition to a private sandy beach with cabanas and sun loungers, you will find a true female community with a mix of activities: spa treatments, gyms, co-working spaces, and fancy restaurants.
