Gloves On: Discover Dubai's Best Boxing Clubs

30 May 2024

Thinking about starting boxing to relieve stress and negative emotions? Or just to keep fit? Great idea. The next step is choosing a boxing club. You could spend hours online reading reviews and checking Google Maps ratings, which is thorough but time-consuming. To help you out, we have compiled a list of the five best boxing clubs in Dubai (in our opinion).

BoxIQ

Dubai's premier boxing gym offers a variety of cool and diverse group classes. If group classes aren’t your thing, you can opt for one-on-one sessions with a personal trainer. They also have classes for teens aged 11 to 15 where boxing techniques are mixed with having fun.
The gym is equipped with top-notch facilities, ensuring you get the best training experience. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced boxer, you will find the perfect class to suit your needs and help you achieve your fitness goals.
Location: Al Joud Centre — Level M, Office 13 — 1 15 A St — Al Quoz — Dubai

Team Nogueira Dubai, founded in 2013 with support from H.E. Sheikh Tariq Bin Faisal bin Khalid Al Qassimi, is a top-tier martial arts academy established by UFC legends Rodrigo and Rogerio Nogueira. The boxing gym offers elite training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, MMA, Judo, and boxing, featuring world-class trainers and state-of-the-art facilities including a full-size fight cage and boxing ring.
By the way, the club opens at 6 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, which is perfect for those who want to get everything done before work.

The gym features state-of-the-art equipment, dedicated areas for combat sports and fitness, and world-class coaches. TK MMA & Fitness hosts community events like TK Community Bootcamp on Saturdays that are free for everyone and held in the big outdoor space.

Rocky Road

Their philosophy is to put people first. When someone comes to Rocky Road, they become not just a client but a friend and member of their community. That is true!
The club offers a range of options, from group sessions that teach the fundamentals of boxing to personalised one-on-one coaching and semi-private split sessions. Their coaches are true professionals in their field, including Masters of Sports of International Class and champions from Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan (one of them is even a world chess boxing champion). Each coach has a unique approach to training and will definitely help you achieve your goals.
The club, which is also a lifestyle community, opened in June 2023 in Al Quoz. When you visit, make sure to check out the graffiti on the wall!

You put on a stylish sporty outfit, boxing gloves, and start training — all while feeling like a movie is being filmed about you. That is the kind of experience you get at Underdog Box’n. It is like being in a movie.
Founded in 2018 by Brian Cochrane and Linda Chambers, the club mainly focuses on boxing training. The space itself isn’t very large, but it doesn’t need to be; everything in the club is perfect. This boxing club is known for its vibrant atmosphere, energetic coaches, and top-notch equipment, including the latest punching bags, dynamic lighting, and powerful music to enhance the workout experience.
