In the coming year, several key technologies are poised to take centre stage, which could reshape industries and redefine our daily lives. Generative AI and Everyday Automation take centre stage while Phygital Convergence, Sustainable Technology, Cyber Resilience, and Quantum Computing will be at the forefront of our technological journey.

Generative AI — Everyday Automation

Once a niche concept, Generative AI is set to become an integral part of daily lives. The technology has already transcended its novelty and has become a central component in various industries. The coming year will experience a surge in the sophistication of AI-generated content, where applications will include virtual assistants and personalised recommendations, with more significant expansion in art and design. Automated transport, as already seen in the UAE, and smart homes will become the norm, redefining the meaning of convenience and efficiency.
